Men are sweet, if foolish creatures.
They think that they rule the world.
Women are not much better,
for we let them think it so.

the woman got the blame
but not the husband's ego
that could have been contained.
Though testosterone's no trifle,
our hormones make good jokes.
So men go off to battle,
and we pick up their socks.
Peace when it comes is rarely true,
a temporary quiet.
